ATMA KRIYA YOGA: Awareness of the Soul / Private or semi-private 16h course

Kriya is the awareness we bring to life itself. With Atma Kriya, our awareness shifts from our limitation, to our unlimited nature as pure Love.

Yoga is union with the Divine. Through Atma Kriya Yoga, we attain the true goal of yoga: awareness of our soul’s loving relationship with the Divine in every moment.

In this course you will receive a full yogic meditation system consisting of 15 powerful meditations, as well as energetic and physical yogic exercises. At the end of this course each student receives a very rare Shaktipat initiation into a thousands of year old yogic lineage and the blessing of enlightened Yoga Masters, Paramahamsa Vishwananda and Mahavatar Babaji.

This course is typically done over two full days, but it can be tailored to fit your schedule. The cost of the course is $400. The payment can be made in installments.


 

KaleidoscopeME Neuro Diverse Private Yoga Instruction

KaleidoscopeME Instructors, Liza Savage-Katz and Kaylin McCarthy have a combined 20 years of experience working with and serving the neuro diverse community. Individuals will receive a consultation, outlining their specific goals, and an email check-in prior to the practice. We will tailor a personalized, therapeutic class format to achieve these objectives. Our students have the option to request a pre-set number of one-on-one sessions, building the skills to carry on a home based practice, or continue a supported practice with hands on adjustments, emotional guidance and verbal instruction long term. KaleidoscopeME introduces participants to a practice of building a conscious relationship to self through mindfulness, meditation, breathing exercises, and movement through full-length classes tailored to meet individual needs.

In person or Virtually: $150 per session / a $25 additional charge may be applied to cover space rental (at home locations subject to travel costs)

Although Yoga and Pilates classes have grown in popularity over the years, some individuals may find that private lessons are more appealing. Unlike basic classes, private lessons are a one on one experience with an instructor. Private lessons can bring about improvements to one’s mental and physical health and help one achieve personal wellness goals.

SOME BENEFITS OF PRIVATE INSTRUCTION

  • Beginning yoga and Pilates students can feel overwhelmed in typical class settings, particularly during the first few classes. It can seem difficult to keep up and personal flexibility might require a little work before it becomes easier to get into different poses.

  • Beginners can avoid feeling overwhelmed and uncomfortable by taking private lessons to get started. A private yoga or Pilates instructor shows each move personally and can help improve form immediately, which makes it easier to get started.

  • Although the experience itself and goal planning are important, making the time to practice is a vital element of yoga and Pilates. If it’s not possible to get to a class, then joining a class is not the best choice. In such an instance, a private lesson can accommodate even the most hectic of schedules.

  • Injuries and health concerns can make a normal yoga or Pilates class impractical for some participants. A yoga or Pilates instructor teaching several students at one time cannot focus on individual needs or ensure that the poses will not further injure or strain a particular person. Furthermore, health concerns like pregnancy, diabetes or heart disease may require special alterations to one’s yoga practice.

The unique and soothing sounds quiet your mind and can induce meditation by stimulating brainwave activity. You will also benefit from the physical vibrations of the gong. The powerful sound waves vibrate every cell in your body, helping to release blocked energy and restore balance at the molecular level.

Learning to play music you love, on your own instrument, is such a source of joy and empowerment.

Margaret has been teaching violin, viola and piano for over twenty years. She’s trained in Suzuki, traditional, and improvisational methods, has worked extensively with the Alexander Technique, and maintains a personal yoga practice. She brings all of this, plus a love of language and visual arts, to her collaboration with you or your child in finding a creative, personalized approach to learning and playing. She’s dedicated to helping you find and develop your voice.

Margaret holds a masters degree in viola performance from the Eastman School of Music and a bachelors degree in German language and literature from Swarthmore College. She enjoys teaching all ages and experience levels, and is also available for online lessons.
